I'm sorry. I know it's been ages (more than 3 months!!) since I last wrote. I didn't really have any new news to share with regard to the walk. But guess what? As of a few minutes ago, Mom and I are officially registered for the 2008 Washington, DC Breast Cancer 3-Day.
I am so excited.
I am so nervous.
I am so thrilled that I will have Mom by my side and she'll have me by hers as we go through this adventure together. I have named our team Until the Day We May Dance, because, as I mentioned below, that is the day we can't wait to get to.
Over the next few days, I will set up our donation webpages and send out an email to let everyone know that we're getting ready to wage battle in our part of the fight against this horrible disease.
And I have to buy a new pair of sneakers.
